As the Vice President of Marketing (reporting directly to the CEO) you will be leading a team tasked with demand generation, marketing funnel optimization, and sales enablement.
You will be in charge of defining and implementing demand generation strategy using inbound and outbound marketing tactics such as search engine optimization, email marketing, landing pages and social media to grow our database and overall company revenues.
As a manager in charge of sales enablement, you will help optimize our sales process and collateral and report key business metrics.
Lead a team of marketers to drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs and Opportunities;
Grow the team through hiring and training;
Set the company’s strategy for demand generation and sales enablement;
Own relationship with sales and customer success and forge strong communication and service level agreement (SLA) between marketing and sales;
Deliver training and sales tools to our reps to help them be more efficient and effective;
Forecast and present to senior management a dashboard on key business metrics.
BA/BS/Ms.c is a plus or equivalent working experience;
Proven and visible marketing veteran (5+ years team lead), with experience blogging, writing thought leadership pieces, speaking, and growing a personal audience on social media;
Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Expert in end-to-end inbound marketing and lifecycle stage optimization tactics. As the owner of the marketing funnel, you must know what makes it generate customers;
You must be analytical and able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize a team’s approach and a company’s forecast;
A good grasp of marketing tools such as Pardot and Salesforce.
